Everyone's experience with grounding is different. For some people changes are noticeable quickly; for others they're subtle and build up over weeks of consistent use, so gradual that some people don't notice them until they stop. Grounding also doesn't produce any physical sensation, so feeling nothing is normal.
Check your setup first
Most "not working" cases come down to one of these:
- Is your outlet grounded? Test it with your socket tester. You need two green lights or two amber lights with the white tester (check the legend on your tester).
- Is the cover the right way up? Fabric side down, smooth shiny side up. Only the top side is conductive.
- Is the cord connected at both ends? It can get knocked off the adapter or the cover without you noticing.
- What's between you and the cover? Only one natural-fibre sheet (cotton, linen or bamboo). No quilts, thick toppers or extra layers.
- What are you wearing? Bare arms or legs make the best contact. Full-length pyjamas limit it.
Give it time
Consistent daily use matters more than anything else. There's no fixed timeline, and we can't promise specific results.
